Sobrevolando

The iconic Latin American band Cultura Profetica presents their First Time Ever Vinyl Release for its sixth studio album Sobrevolando, an ode to the social, political and cultural awakening. The opus that has reached more than 35 million streams on Spotify, is out now as a Specially Priced Double Album. Sobrevolando (flying over), in a symbolic way, is the attitude Cultura Profetica has assumed to continue moving on forward through the many challenges such as Hurrican Maria in their homeland Puerto Rico, the shallowness of the musical industry, the heartless direction of international geo-politics, drastic changes in the band and needless to say the actual Coronavirus pandemic. In Sobrevolando, the innovative elements of their compositions and arrangements are beyond standard and were completely mixed and mastered with analog technology by the multi-Grammy-winning engineer Ben Kane (mixing engineer) and Alex DeTurk (master engineer). This vinyl, pressed by RTI, delivers an outstanding 3D sound image. The first single "Caracoles" was released with an inspiring independent career, Cultura Profetica has become the most important reggae band in Spanish and are in the run for both Latin and American Grammy.
