I asked many kids what they thought of it. They thought it was a great! None of the children or their parents thought it was too scary.When you assemble it, make sure the power adapter and footpad cords that are plugged into the box are well away from the moving mechanics, I placed mine on the outside of the wireframe and inside the clothes.The two feet are tightly packed together and may look like a single foot and you may think that one foot is missing.The Boogie Man is tall and light, if it's outside, it will blow over. You should stake it with tent stakes or place a couple of bricks on the bottom.The power adapter blew up from a very slight rain. The plugs adapter design soaks up water into the power adapter. I would wrap this in plastic to keep it dry.The footpad actuator isn't built

It's a hit! I thought kids would be afraid of it but I didn't give them enough credit. They are brave. I see them sneak up to it, set the screaming girl off, then they take off. It's fun to see everyone having fun on such a great holiday. Just hope it holds up through many seasons

I have four kids ranging from 15 to 6 and all of them were thrilled with this purchase. The Bogeyman is an amazing and very grand addition to any Halloween decor. Honestly, he is worth the money. He was super easy to put together, but you will need a little step ladder. This is better than any of the animatronics they had at our local Halloween store. Go for it!

I mounted him on a cart attached to an old garage door opener to be set up on the front lawn. He works great. Relatively easy to assemble. Priceless reactions from my neighbors lol.

Our whole family gets into Halloween and this was a great addition to our decorations. Unfortunately it rained this year so we couldn't bring this outside to help us scare the neighborhood kids but next year it will helpmkeep the faint of heart away.

I'm providing this review upon initial set up. If there are any malfunctions or issues I will update.I've purchased quite a few animatronic props in recent years. This has to be the best one so far.-The jaw movement is synced perfectly with the laughter (child's mouth is fixed).-The motors are quiet enough that you don't hear them over the recorded sounds.-There is attention to detail in the costume. The length leaves no mechanics or framework exposed. Hook and loop fasteners are mounted securely. There are layers to the coat, hood and sleeves.-The motion sensor works very well. I've seen another review stating that the prop sets itself off. That was happening with mine, but was easily fixed by moving a small piece of material out of the way of the sensor.-The frame is metal and fairly …

My Halloween is "clown"themed. So I dressed this big guy up as a clown. I put a half clown mask, red afro style wig, painted his feet red and pinned clown pants to his long legs.He's even more Incredible now!! I can't wait for Halloween!! I love this prop! I'm sure he'll be a big hit!! I like that I'm able to control the volume too.

I really like the look of this prop and the height is impressive. I am over 6 feet tall and I had to use a small step ladder to finish putting him together. On the less positive side, the step pad that came with him does not work properly. Stepping on it does nothing, but if you pick it up and drop it, he gets activated. I doubt if this is the original design. Also, when on sensor mode, he just continuously runs, despite no discernible movement to set him off. It could be a bad sensor, but I will play with this to try and figure it out. Can’t wait to add him to our cast of Halloween characters.
