We have a full range , Wakizashi, Tanto sword and other sword's accessories. Swords from Handmade Sword are all hand made in traditional ways by skilled and experienced swordsmiths. We believe in keeping customers happy and providing them with the best sword at competent price. Traditional Forging Method: Heat Tempered or Clay Tempered. Blade: All Handmade Swords blades are full tang, engraved with signature of sword smith. And it can be fully disassembled and assembled. Most of our functional blades are made of high carbon content steel. Also, there are blades made of stainless steel or aluminum alloy for Aikido training swords. Tuba and other fittings: Most fittings are made by brass. For Tubas, we use copper, or brass, or iron, or alloy. It depends on each tuba. Handle and Saia (Scabbard): Woodener other specified. Hand-sharpened to a functional edge for tameshigiri practice (cutting tatami mats and bamboo). Blade measures 28.5 inches. 【Heat-Tempered Edge】 Differentially heat tempered to produce a visible wavy temper pattern along the cutting edge, with a solid full-bodied cross-section (no bo-hi groove) for a substantial feel in hand and reliable cutting performance. 【Traditional Mountings】 Fitted with a pierced traditional tsuba and a fitted habaki collar. The tsuka is wrapped over genuine rayskin (samegawa) in braided black cotton ito with secured menuki, giving a firm two-handed grip. 【Full Tang & Specifications】 Single full tang secured by two bamboo mekugi pegs for double retention, fully disassemblable for care. Housed in a hand-lacquered black wooden saya with cotton sageo. 28.5-inch blade, 10.5-inch handle, 40.5 inches overall. 【What Ships in the Box】 Includes the katana, its lacquered black saya, a protective cotton sword bag, and a packaging tube.
