Later we became the first company to launch fresh, pre-washed organic salad greens for retail sale, and we helped start a salad revolution.Although the ingredients in our mix may vary seasonally, the blend usually contains baby leaves of red and green romaine and oak leaf lettuces, lollo rosa and tango lettuces, red and green chard, mizuna, arugula, frisée and radicchio. All of our Spring Mix salad blends have a perfect balance of sweet, peppery, and bitter flavors for enticing salads with delicious depth and complexity.Try Earthbound Farm Organic Spring Mix in this and other salads:Mixed Green Salad with Mango-Ginger VinaigretteIngredients1/4 cup fresh Earthbound Farm Organic Mango cubes1 teaspoon minced shallot2 teaspoons Earthbound Farm Crushed Fresh Ginger Organic Purée (or grated fresh ginger)1 lime (zest)2 tablespoons fresh lime juice1 tablespoon unseasoned rice vinegar3 tablespoons mango nectar1/8 teaspoon wasabi powder1/8 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon Sugar (or honey)1/4 cup olive oil5 ounces Earthbound Farm Organic Baby Romaine (or Spring Mix, or your favorite greens)1/4 cup chopped macadamia nutsfresh mango slices2 tablespoons finely minced crystallized gingerDirections:Combine all dressing ingredients except the oil in blender and purée until smooth.
